Room 2 has started the year with 11 boys and 6 girls. We have lots of fun doing a variety of activities: writing, reading, exploring numbers, singing, painting, modelling with play dough, building with wood, creating in the sandpit, role-playing with dress-ups, doing fitness, jump jam… and best of all… we wrap up our busy day with swimming!

This term we have been observing the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly. The eggs hatched on our swan plants and then we watched the caterpillars eating and growing before our eyes. They stripped our plants bare and had to eat pumpkin for a while until we got more plants!
